I was born in Hull, Quebec, Canada in 1945. I paint since 1972 and become a professional painter in 1973 leaving my lucrative employment as a graphist in the Federal Civil Service. I then devote all my time in raising my two daughters with my abstract Art. From 1972 to 1976 I paint as a self-taught artist in abstraction only. After a three years teaching contract in the primary school of Ottawa, Hull/Gatineau, I discover the na�ve art and drawings from the thousand of kids to whom I taught abstract painting. Follows therefore from 1977 to 1983 a abondant painting production in na�ve art, which I was selling as I went. A remarkable event in my career was the discovery of silkscreen printing from 1983 to 1988. I was drawings on every subject inimaginable. I personnaly printed 5000 silkscreen prints, with no more than 20 to 40 numbered prints per drawings. In 1989 I took up my paintbrushes and canvas with a renewed vigor, and created in the summer of 1993, 200 abstract paintings so I could redefined my color palette. In 1997 I moved to the Laurentians to find new inspiration and painted hundreds of paintings as my career took off once more as this Web Page demonstrate very well.
